“In addition, you will find all the source code from this book on the
    website for convenient download”

The book does a good job of showing how Ajax has evolved (itself a debatable topic) and how it is used in modern-day applications.

The ebook is full of errors, as far as I could see, but it really worths. If you understand what is all about, you can correct errors yourself and still get a valuable material from this book.
